7月9日はウィンブルドン大会開催の日です。
ということで、今回は、ウィンブルドンの豆知識や雑学を
紹介して参ります。
ウィンブルドンとは
イギリス・ロンドンで開催される
テニス4大世界大会の一つですが、
世界四大大会とは何でしょう。
世界大会は「グランドスラム」と一般に呼ばれたりします
しかし、最初から「グランドスラム」
だったわけでなく
それぞれ4つの大会に独立いた歴史を持っています。
■ウィンブルドン
最も長い歴史を持つテニストーナメント
として知られます。第1回大会
（男子シングルスのみ）開催
は1877年（日本では明治10年）
女子シングルスは1884年（明治17年）
に開始している。
■全米オープン
1881年（明治14年）アマチュア大会として
第1回が開催した。
1987年に女子の大会も開催された。
プロ選手が参加できるようにオープン化されたのは
1968年（昭和43年）で、
USTA（全米テニス協会）ナショナルテニスセンターで
開催されるようになったのは1978年（昭和53年）
■全仏オープン
1891年（明治24年）
男子の国内選手権としてスタートしました。
1987年（明治30年）に女子の大会も開催されています。
■全豪オープン
オーストラリアで1905年（明治38年）
オーストラレージアン・テニス選手権という大会があり、
1969年（昭和44年）全豪オープンと改称されました。
オープン化となったのは四大大会の中で
最も早いそうです。（昭和43年）
如何ですか。
それでは、少しだけ、雑学を
お話ししていきましょう。
ユニフォーム着ているのはなんで？？
・ドレスコードだからです！
ウィンブルドンが全員に白を着用するよう強制しているのです。
例えば公式サイトなど、
白ルールを強制する文面があるそうです。
公式サイトによると「主に白predominately in whiteルールが
1963年に適応され
1995年に「’ほぼ完全に白almost entirely in white’ルール
に変更されたそうです。
さらに、2014年からは 2014年からは、ヘッドバンドなどのアクセサリー
や白ルールに含まれるようになりました。
ちなみに、テニスの1球目を「サービス・サーブ」
等と言いますよね、
由来をご存知ですか？
元々、テニスの語源は、13世紀のフランス貴族によって考案された
「ジュ・ド・ポーム」と言われています。
現在のようなテニスそのものでなく、
二人ペアで、「ラリーをどれだけ続けられるか」
を楽しむゲームでした。
この際、召使いが、最初の1球目を打ちやすい位置に投げたことが
サービスボールの始まりです。
サービスや、サーブの日本語訳は
現在のテニスや卓球、各種球技、1球目から
相手の返しづらい位置へ、
全力でボールを打ち込むようになっており、
用語とは正反対の行動がとられていることになりますね。

I would concur on not asking for clarification. Looking at the authorities at this point I feel there is enough to claim 1231 treatment. 1253 needs some attention but do not think it is a big issue. Of on a C corp it makes not difference. I have been under the impression that installment treatment will be available but will do another look.
